Chief Executive Officer

Michael has been building web sites longer than he can recall, literally since their inception. And with IBM, Nestle and Unilever among his satisfied clients, he must be doing something right.

Key to his and Sourcetop's approach is a deep understanding of the demands and nuances of the agency client relationship. This derives from his early years as an award-winning designer, and has informed each of his roles throughout his career, manifesting itself as a client-driven focus on simplified solutions.

While Executive Vice President and Managing Director at Ammirati Puris Lintas, for example, he created the Solutions Center to coordinate worldwide advertising for the likes of Dell, GMC and UPS, and also developed the Creative Services Project Management Group.

As COO at PrintVision, a print technology and solutions consultancy for firms like Prudential, Starwood, and American Cancer Society, Michael supervised a suite of acquired technologies later sold to Ikon Office Solutions. At Ogilvy and Mather he was a Partner, responsible for launching the eighth floor digital playroom and transforming the mechanical group into a leading-edge digital production facility.

Michael's client sensibility was further enhanced by spending three years with the idiosyncratic Paul Rand; initially working on his book "From Lascaux to Brooklyn", then just about everything. The day-ending nature walks around the estate and the ensuing conversations remain some of the most valuable teaching sessions one could ever wish for.

Managing Partner

With one foot in his native Bangladesh and the other in his adopted home of New York Abu has brought out the best of the two and built a world-class development team regardless of location.

His dedicated work ethic, expertise and unyielding charm have gained him life-long clients. Whether custom development, application migration, integration services, testing, database management or system maintenance he anticipates the needs of a project long before the first line of code is written and structures the team to fit the need.

With projects like Syncora, Theatre Development Fund, Yoga City and myProducer under his belt there is little he hasn't encountered and managed to bring to fruition. Previously Abu was a Partner at Systems Venture leading the development team for the independent film social networking site myProducer.tv as well as Yoga City, multiple Cablevision Sweepstake sites and others.

He was also the CTO for Computer Care Center, Inc. and taught Visual Basic, HTML/CSS, Networking, and Computing Basics for a local training center.

Abu graduated from Queens College (CUNY) with a dual major in Computer Science and Business Administration. He has a CompTIA A+ Certification and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).

Abu currently lives in NYC with his wife and three children.

Senior Developer

Tom's extensive experience building world-class technology platforms is characterized by innovation and application.

As Chief Technology Officer for 58k, he built the first-ever reverse auction style system for the printing industry. 58k was then acquired by PrintVision, and Tom duly advanced the system to handle private auctions for clients such as Prudential, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, American Cancer Society and Natural Wildlife Fund.

Prior to this, Tom was much in demand on Wall Street, where he developed firm-wide risk management databases to replace the conventional spreadsheet. His system standardized risk management across 22 books, both swap and option, producing daily risk and limit reports for New York, London and Hong Kong. So he says, anyway.

When DKBI London and DKBFP London merged, he played a key role providing front office trade feed support for Bloomberg Trader and Gloss Trader. Moreover, he has been responsible for all system administration of a 20-position currency options/swaps trading floor, that deploys Definity PBX and IPC turret system, Bloomberg and Telerate data feeds.

Recipient of a BA from Wesleyan University, where he double majored in Computer Science & Philosophy, Tom is pleasingly single-minded about rendering the complex simple – and implementable.

Office Manager

Amzad runs the Dhaka office where he is not just our voice but also the heart and soul of the operation. His well rounded knowledge of programming and expert Drupal skills allow him to manage difficult projects with ease as well as join-in when he has to.

When not running the office Amazad gives talks and participates in various forums keeping us connected with top-notch talent and local universities.

He has a BSc in Computer Science Engineering from Southeast University in Dhaka and is recently married.

Masters of these domains (plus a few others)

We understand each project is unique and often requires multiple platforms working in concert to meet the demands of today’s tech-savvy user. Our well-rounded experience let's us remain technology agnostic when architecting the optimum solution.
